Overall, it wasn’t a bad Turkey Day. I am thankful that my mom prepped the food we all ate at our house. My mom didn’t want to celebrate this year. I think it was due to her not having the funding needed to make an extravagant dinner this year. That is an assumption, of course. I was very happy to simply reheat the turkey instead of waiting all day for it. Plus, my mom always has added special touch when cooking. I don’t know what her secret is… magic? Maybe. Maybe it is all mothers. And it is probably best left secret.
This year I would like to state 10 things I am grateful for.
- My kids. My heart and warmth goes to you. Even though you drive me crazy, I will always find time for you.
- My kid’s mom. Even though we don’t always get along we still find the time to find common ground most days. I love you. We will keep getting stronger as our relationship builds.
- My home. Without it, we would be freezing in the winter and frying in the summer. Not in a good way either.
- Life. I am extremely grateful to still be alive. After certain circumstances put me in predicaments in which I could have easily died.
- 5. My mom and dad. Without them I wouldn’t even exist. So yeah, there is that. Plus, you help me when I am in a terrible mood. For that I am thankful.
- Friends. Without great friends, I think I wouldn’t know how to be myself. Thank you Chad, Colby, James, Brent, Mike, Derrick, and of course Snarff. Who always seem to be there when I need you. Especially in video games.
- Plot-Pulse.com – Which is sort of new to me. I only created it this year. But, overall, I think I am doing fairly well. I have over 130 posts and continuing to create more. More stories & others. Sometimes I just rant. But, I am thankful that I get to do that.
- Stories through ai. This has been particularly interesting. I have spent several hours just creating a story using ai. It’s pretty fun. I definitely recommend it! All you do is type your idea. Tell it you want it in story format. And viola!
- My skateboard. Where I recently skated my first ever competition. I failed miserably. But, that is okay. I am 35 and have always wanted to be in one. Even though I didn’t place, I still got free trucks from someone named “Taco Mike” and we got free food.
- Programming- It is something I have tinkered with over years. Still don’t fully understand it. But, I did make a little joke generator… Check it out here!
Well folks, it’s time I high tailed out of these here bouts. Hope you like the 10 things I am grateful for this year. Subscribe!
