Top 10 Movies List

#1 – John Wick – I do like all four movies. However, I believe it is the 2nd or 3rd one that I didn’t like as much as the others. They are all still really good. The storyline goes from a dead dog, to car, then to revenge. Action packed, full of combat and masterful gun play.

#2 – IT – I like all of the IT movies. Ranging from the older version, to the newer ones. Pennywise is a clown that will go down in history as one of the creepiest clowns in existence.

#3 – Insidious – This series of movies started out great. The newer Insidious movies, I didn’t care for as much. But, if a new one is released, I will likely watch it. I am a huge fan of horror films.

#4 – Final Destination – I have enjoyed these movies plot. Every single one of these movies have ways of people meeting their demise in graphic and gory ways. What’s not to love about that?

#5 – Saw – This series is pretty suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat. Whether it was jigsaw, his apprentice, or Chris Rock, each movie had a suspenseful vibe to it and left me wanting more.

#6 – Ready Player One – This movie, set in its dystopian future, had me feeling nostalgia from every corner of the film. Whether it was Gunters or the skins that they wear, I am not sure. However, I am a huge fan of video games and have been since the 90’s. So, that might have something to do with why I like it. So many characters from old movies and video games made this movie keep my attention.

#7 – Pineapple Express – This movie was absolutely hilarious. I absolutely enjoyed it. Goes from comedy to action in a silly way. The actors in this film absolutely nailed making me laugh on multiple occasions. Who doesn’t love a comedy about a pot dealer gone wrong?

#8 – Grind – The movie grind was one of my favorite movies for years. That movie has a special place in my heart. I still remember how I felt when I first saw the movie back in the early 2000s. The movie motivated me to want to become a better skateboarder. And for many years, I skated to a lot of the songs in the movie. “Boom! Here comes the BOOM!, Ready or not. How you like me now?” – I swear I have many memories where that song motivated me even more to get up and keep pushing. Even when I was hurt.

#9 – Tropic Thunder – Absolute comedy gold! I loved watching this movie. It went from starting with a movie set, to them being in an actual war. Hilariously laid out the entire way. Had me laughing my ass off all the way through it.

#10 – Marvel Movies – Even though Marvel Movies are my absolutely favorite, all of my actual favorite movies are a Marvel movie. I do like Batman too, don’t get me wrong. But, Marvel has a special place in my heart. If I were to write out my favorite list of movies from 1-10, most would be a marvel movie. So, instead, I will put it this way, most of these movies tie into one another and I don’t really have a favorite. But, if I were going to pick, I wouldn’t be able to. Most Marvel movies are absolutely filled with comedy, action, suspense, and a touch of horror.

Fun Fact – I cried at the end of the Avengers Endgame when Iron Man died. That was sad.

Bonus Fun Fact – My wife cried at the end of the Venom: The Last Dance. And usually she doesn’t even like the Marvel movies. I still don’t understand why. But, I think they have started to grow on her.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the movies on my list at least once in your life. There are many other great movies I almost added to the list (like Rambo, or Fast & Furious series, D&D, many others) but, felt ended up thinking of other movies that actually made this list.
