Together, let’s ignite a revolution…

Importance of Mental Health

One thing that many people may not fully understand is the complexity and nuances of mental health. Mental health is not just about feeling happy or sad; it encompasses a wide range of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and others are complex and can have profound effects on a person’s life.

Many people may underestimate the impact of mental health issues or may stigmatize those who struggle with them, viewing them as a sign of weakness or personal failure. However, mental health is influenced by a combination of biological, psychological, and environmental factors, and seeking help for mental health challenges is not a sign of weakness but rather a courageous step toward healing and well-being.

Additionally, there’s often a lack of understanding about how to support someone with mental health issues. It’s important for people to educate themselves about mental health, to foster empathy and compassion, and to create environments where individuals feel safe and supported in seeking help and treatment.

People don’t understand it, unless them or their beloved (close) ones suffer from mental illness. Bringing awareness to this is a tough task, I myself once tried to talk about my bipolar disorder openly on my psychology studies and received “stop spreading negativity” as an answer. I hope this way of treating this issue will change in future…
    Thank you!
