If you won two free plane tickets, where would you go?

Where would that be?

Recent events make things seem like nowhere is really “Paradise.” It would be difficult to really know where to go. Hawaiian islands? Australia? Somewhere where there is beautiful scenery, that’s for sure. Paris, perhaps? Maldives?

I would probably just use the tickets to visit my younger brother Will.

The reason is simple. I haven’t seen or hardly heard from him in the past ten years. Mostly due to my own instability and having a family.

Either way, it would be nice to see him. Not sure how much longer he has to live. Life has been pretty unfair to him. He was diagnosed with kidney failure at a young age, about 11 or 12 years old. And he is in his 30’s.

More recently, he had a very bad infection and they changed the dialysis he is on. The tube is no longer in his stomach, it’s in his heart. He likes it better because he only has to go to the hospital a few times a week. Rather than, having to connect to a machine for about ten hours a night.

All he wants to do is work. Due to his illness it is difficult for him to find work. Last time he had a job social security screwed him over with a “ticket to work” program. And they made him pay back all the money he earned. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with the government? That stuff blew my mind.

Where are some good suggestions of where to go? I will add them to my endless dreams of places I want to see in my lifetime.
